A couple of weeks ago I helped a wonderful couple and their two adorable kids find and buy their country getaway forever home in Fayette County. They had a beautiful home in Austin they needed to sell in order to buy and also needed financing. Since we were looking at country properties I suggested they work with Capital Farm Credit – the perfect lender for Texas homes and acreage. It didn’t take long for us to find THE right property. And the dance began. We wrote an offer contingent on the sale of their home, and got it accepted. They got their Austin home on the market. It took a few extensions on their purchase contract to allow them the time they needed to get their home sold for the right price to the right Buyers. The Seller and Seller’s Agent on the Fayette County property were very understanding and patient during the process and we were able to do a same day closing on both properties which was coordinated by our Escrow Agent in La Grange at Texas Country Title.
Last night I received the nicest Thank You card from my Clients. The front of the card reads: Kind hearts, like garden flowers, bring Grace and Beauty to our would, and the hand written message inside: “Deb, What can we say other than you are amazing! Thank you so much for helping to make our dream of living in the country a reality. Without all of your hard work and dedication it wouldn’t have been possible! Also, thank you for your heartfelt gifts you gave to our daughter. She was over the moon when she walked in to her room and saw the saddle and the horse. We all had tears seeing her smile ear to ear. Again, thank you for everything. We look forward to seeing you and Roger soon.”
